Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Supervisor - Mechanical to lead mechanical construction activities during the installation and commissioning phases of the project. You'll be a key player ensuring that mechanical works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to spec—while helping shape the future of renewable energy in Australia

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily site-based mechanical construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with McConnell Dowell's Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan
  • Maintain strict HSE and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide leadership to mechanical subcontractors and teams on site
  • Collaborate closely with project engineers and planners to align site works with project milestones

About you:
  • Trade qualified or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in mechanical supervision on major infrastructure or hydro projects
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE, QA/QC, and project controls in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong technical literacy—able to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Solid understanding of integrated management systems and construction standards
