BehavioUral Management Program (BUMP) Clinical Psychologist role at NSW Health. This permanent part-time position provides evidence-based behavioural interventions, supports older patients across rehab and aged care, and educates carers and families.
What You'll Be Doing- Join the Behavioural Management Program as a Clinical Psychologist supporting patients in aged care, stroke and rehabilitation at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.
- Assess and manage behavioural disturbances.
- Develop tailored behavioural care plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct cognitive screening assessments.
- Support and educate carers and families.

- Remuneration: $ $67.15 per hour
- Hours Per Week: 19 (Job share may be considered for part-time hours)

What We Look For- Assessing and managing behavioural disturbances
- Developing tailored behavioural care plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions
- Conducting cognitive screening assessments
- Supporting and educating carers and families
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full-time duration or recognised equivalent.
- WHS Responsibilities: take reasonable care for yourself and others and comply with work health safety policies and procedures.
- WWCC: Current Working with Children Check Clearance (where applicable).
- NPC: National Police Check (to be conducted by Health Service for Recommended Candidates).
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with general registration and specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards endorsement.
- Knowledge of working with cognitive impairment, dementia and BPSD, including formulating behavioural management plans.
- Experience in cognitive screening and/or neuropsychological assessments and report-writing.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and exercising independent professional judgement.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation with staff.
- Computer literacy including MS Office and health databases/systems.
