Overview

Senior Clinician - Child and Adolescent Practice at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria. Lead a team delivering clinical services to justice-involved young people, with a focus on evidence-informed practice and positive outcomes for families and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team helping justice-involved young people turn their lives around.
  • Provide therapeutic intervention to young people with complex needs within a forensic framework, and build respectful, supportive relationships.
  • Guide and supervise staff, foster a strong team culture with peer support and collaboration.
  • Engage in regular training and development (one day per month dedicated to learning).
What You Will Get
  • Salary: $113,022 – $136,747 per year, plus super.
  • Sponsorship of industry membership and opportunities to represent at conferences.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development; sponsorship of professional membership (e.g., AHPRA or AASW).
  • Ongoing clinical and operational supervision and support.
About You / Qualifications

Professional clinical background or education with experience in forensic assessment and intervention. Qualified practitioners with professional membership or general registration in:

  • Psychology
  • Mental health nursing
  • Social work
  • Occupational therapy
