Cargo Service Delivery Agent [ Mascot, NSW]

As our business expands, we are looking for additional people to join our Cargo offsite facility located on Link Road, Mascot. This facility has free on-site parking and is minutes away from the M5 motorway. dnata provides on-the-job training to all employees as well as full uniform including PPE at no cost.

What you will receive as an employee:

  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave (accrued on all time worked);

  • All PPE including steel cap boots supplied;
  • Uniforms and ID cards supplied;
  • Minimum engagement of 24 hours per week;
  • Opportunities for career progression and ability to progress in the business;
  • Full-time opportunities once you have been with the business for 12 months;

A few of the key responsibilities for a Cargo agent are:

  • Forklift driving;
  • Loading and unloading of cargo in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Safely operate forklifts as required;
  • Accurate data entry and processing of import/export information utilising the dnata operating systems;
  • Correct processing of all cargo handling documentation;
  • Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling system, packing/unpacking ULDs and loose cargo, as directed;

Pay Grade:

$26.13 per hour + 11.5% superannuation + penalties:

  • 15% if you start your shift before 7am and finish after 6pm
    • Base Rate + Loadings: $30.04
  • 22.5% if you start your shift before 4am and finish after 12am
    • Base Rate + Loadings: $32.01
  • 150% flat rate all day on Saturday
    • Base Rate + Loadings: $39.19
  • 200% flat rate all day on Sunday, Public Holidays and Overtime
    • Base Rate + Loadings: $52.26
  • 200% Loading for all part-time employees working outside their rostered hours
    • Base Rate + Loadings: $52.26

Minimum requirement is Forklift Drivers. If you do not hold a license in either of these, please reach out and our team will assist you.
