About the role

Kooii Apartments' is seeking an experienced Relief Manager to join our team in Fortitude Valley, QLD. This is a contract position, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role and contribute to the continued success of our thriving hospitality business.

Candidates must be Australian citizens only.

This contract position has an expected duration of 3 months with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all day-to-day operations, including staffing, guest services, and financial management
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency
  • Effectively communicating with and managing a team of dedicated hospitality professionals
  • Collaborating with the broader management team to achieve company objectives
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar relief or management role within the hospitality industry
  • Relief or management experience must specifically be within serviced apartments
  • Experience across all serviced apartment operations is required, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and financial management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Must have managed a team of 6-10 staff members
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
