Accommodion Manager

The Glen Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Manager to join our award-winning venue in Eight Mile Plains. We're an all-encompassing destination featuring our Deck Bar, Charles Baker Coffee & Donut Shop, Lily Restaurant, Gaming Room, 4.5-star accommodation as well as 5 diverse event spaces and a drive-thru bottle shop.

The Glen is an independent venue, owned by the same family for over 62 years. We are an essential part of our local community, and our team has a genuine passion for hospitality - creating a place where customers feel welcome and comfortable, with a focus on delivering exceptional service alongside our strong food and beverage offerings.

Are you passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction? We are seeking an Accommodation Manager to lead our accommodation operations, ensuring that every guest experience exceeds their expectations.

In this role, you\'ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide exceptional customer service and effective management of all guest interactions.
• Monitor rates to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Collaborate closely with our contracted suppliers to maintain the hotel\'s pristine condition.
• Manage and develop a dedicated team, overseeing rostering, recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
• Foster and nurture existing relationships while driving new business growth.

We are looking for someone who has previous hotel management experience or is eager to take the next step in their career with a can-do attitude.

• Previous work experience within a 4 or 5-star accommodation hotel or resort.
• Proficiency in reservations and managing third-party websites.
• Demonstrated expertise in revenue sales and account management.
• Exceptional organisational, time management, and written communication skills.
• A strong background in front office operations, with the ability to implement procedures and processes.
• Previous experience using OPERA Cloud will be highly regarded.
• A hands-on leadership style to guide and manage a small team.
