School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Coffs Harbour Local Government Area

In this Role
  • Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers and local motorists.
  • You'll grow to be a well-known familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.
  • This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between school zone hours 8.00 to 9.30 AM and 2.30 to 4.00 PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as required, Monday to Friday during the school term.
  • You will receive an hourly rate plus superannuation.

  • You are a community-minded person who would like to contribute.
  • You enjoy building community relationships, keeping kids safe while earning a weekly wage for doing something you love.
  • You are reliable and prepared to show up for your community in good or bad weather.
  • You will display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.
Requirements & Benefits
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
  • All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
  • You will be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment. If you haven't done this before, we will help you through the process. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will speed up the process.
  • What you get: hourly rate and superannuation; on-site role with in-person duties.
