Overview

School Crossing Supervisor – Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School – Lismore
Organisation: Transport For NSW

Responsibilities
  • Supervise school crossings to ensure the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists during school hours.
  • Operate within school zone hours: 8:15 – 9:15 AM and 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon.
  • Provide 20 hours of supervising per fortnight.
  • Be a positive, trusted representative in the community and a familiar, safety-focused presence around the school.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • You're 18 years of age or older at the time of appointment.
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Health Assessment; assistance will be provided during the process.
  • Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
  • Reliable, community-minded, able to communicate effectively and stay alert to potential dangers in all weather conditions.

  • Salary: Hourly rate $26.43, plus superannuation; compensation during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3 is included.
