Installation Engineer (Air Conditioning, HVAC, Refrigeration)

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to be based at our Ipswich branch.

Overview

Location: Ipswich, United Kingdom

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Install and commission a wide range of air conditioning units at a variety of sites.
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure installations meet customer specifications with the highest quality and service levels.
  • Travel around Suffolk and occasionally further afield as part of a mobile role.
Requirements
  • Solid working knowledge as an air conditioning installation engineer.
  • Proven experience installing and commissioning equipment for commercial and industrial clients (retail, manufacturing, food production, etc.).
  • Refrigerant handling C&G 2079 or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to translate technical information into understandable language for clients.
  • Due to safeguarding requirements, a confidential criminal record check is completed for customer-site roles and an advanced DBS check with a barred list may be required. DBS code of practice followed; Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
