Boilermakers

**About the business**:
QPTS has partnered with one of our clients who industry Leaders. They are looking for Boilermakers to join their Ipswich Workshop and site-based roles available. FT/PT and casual roles to suit.
You will work with their close-knit team of skilled services employees, Supervisors and Coordinators that promote a strong safety culture, and are willing to go the extra mile for each other and the Company.

**Your duties**:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Install and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery, including conveyor systems, pumps, and motors.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and defects.
Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, including frames, scaffolding, and supports.
Cut, weld, and braze metal parts using welding and flame-cutting equipment.
Repair and maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Use hand and power tools to make precision cuts, measurements, and adjustments.

**Job requirements**:
Certificate of Proficiency - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication
Standard AS1554 and pass a weld test
Proven experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be physically fit and able to work in various environments (e.g. heights, confined spaces).
