We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team
- Develop and implement seasonal menus and specials
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and excellence across all dishes
- Control - ordering, stock management, and cost control
- Maintain compliance with food safety and OH&S standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Head Chef role
- Knowledge of flavors and creating great tasting food
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Creativity and confidence in menu development
- Calm, professional, and effective communicator under pressure
- Ability to set the flow of service and increase speed when demand rises
- Clear communication and composure with FOH
- Effective time management balancing prep and service
- Ability to coordinate dish timing for service
What We Offer:
- Salary package of $80,000–85,000 + super
- Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or public holidays
