Montessori 9-12 Teacher (Maternity Leave Position)

Located on the Sunshine Coast, QLD., Montessori Noosa is an inclusive educational environment dedicated to providing exceptional Montessori education. Position Overview:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated, experienced and qualified Montessori Guide to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to Montessori philosophy, possess a strong understanding of child development, and be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement a Montessori curriculum that caters to the individual needs of the child.

· Maintain a prepared environment that encourages children to independently explore and learn.

· Accurately assess student progress and maintain detailed records.

· Engage with parents and the school community to support the holistic development of each child.

· Having STEM knowledge and an understanding of incorporating Indigenous perspectives in the curriculum, a bonus.

Qualifications:

· Current teaching registration in Queensland.

· Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
