We have an opportunity for a skilled operator to join our Roads Team. This hands-on role requires strong knowledge of the local road network, the capacity to work effectively in a small team, and the flexibility to adapt to different projects. This diverse role will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in construction and maintenance of all roading, drainage, traffic services, concreting, footpaths, and other civil works aligned with Council's responsibilities.

ABOUT US

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council employs over 120 staff across various fields, delivering services to the local government area including Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek, and Willow Tree, serving nearly 8,000 residents.

The council is located in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, 65km from Tamworth and about four hours northwest of Sydney, known for its beautiful landscapes and fertile land, making it a great place to call home.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

We offer a salary starting at $61,885 - $79,216 gross per annum plus superannuation. The exact salary will be negotiated based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
