The Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. They must have a technical aptitude and be capable of configuring the project to meet business and design requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a Workday Payroll product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Leverage expertise to recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe; with flexibility to adapt scope as needed.
  • Guide clients through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and business needs.
  • Support clients through all project phases, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems to Workday Payroll.
  • Perform tasks under limited supervision, keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of progress.
  • Collaborate with the integration team to configure and test integrations with payroll and benefits providers.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Workday Payroll implementation experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience highly desired.
  • 2-5 years of HR, Payroll, or Financial software experience preferred.
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, testing, and implementing solutions under deadlines.
  • Minimal travel required; willingness to travel on-site if needed.
