
Golf, Sports Turf and Councils Key Account Manager

As the Golf, Sports Turf & Councils Key Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering expert support and tailored machinery solutions. You'll work closely with golf courses, sports turf professionals, and government operations to understand their unique needs and recommend cutting-edge John Deere equipment that drives performance and efficiency.
About the role
As the successful applicant your day-to-day may include, but is not limited to:
- Represents the company for the sale of equipment and solutions.
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all Agricultural, Golf and Sports Turf equipment.
- Provides product expertise and support.
- Participates in Sales Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Maintains all customer information for sales management using Sales systems and tools i.e. EQUIP, Handle, John Deere Sales Centre.
- Knows and follows a defined sales process accurately and in an appropriately timely manner.
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers.
- Attends applicable sales training events / seminars.
- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate used equipment.
- Follow up each sale with optimisation of equipment with Service Specialist and an ongoing basis for maximum customer satisfaction and future opportunities.
About you
As the successful applicant you will have/be:
- 3+ years equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and turf operational practices preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent customer relationship skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
