The Opportunity:

We're now growing our design capability and looking for a UI Designer to help us craft standout eCommerce experiences that look beautiful and convert. You'll bring great taste and a practical approach to design — and have the space to own your craft and grow with us.

Must-haves:

  • Experience designing eCommerce websites, ideally for high-growth or fashion/lifestyle brands
  • Strong UI craft and a solid eye for visual design, hierarchy, and usability
  • Curiosity about how design impacts conversion - or some CRO experience
  • Ability to work within and stretch brand systems
  • Clear communication and the confidence to explain design rationale without ego

Nice-to-haves:

  • Shopify design experience, especially theme customiser
  • Familiarity with CRO tools or A/B testing
  • Understanding of design systems, either using or building them
  • Animation, micro-interactions, or basic video editing
  • Agency background and comfort juggling multiple brands or projects

What you'll do:

You'll work closely with our talented team to:

  • Design visually distinctive, high-converting Shopify interfaces that bring brands to life
  • Translate UX insights and CRO strategies into pixel-perfect UI solutions
  • Prototype interactions and micro-animations that delight users and support intuitive customer journeys
  • Develop and apply design systems and component libraries in Figma
  • Collaborate on site redesigns, ongoing UX enhancements, and new feature rollouts
  • Learn from and contribute to CRO strategies — if you're not yet an expert, we'll help you become one
  • Stay hands-on across a variety of client projects (from a few weeks to a few months long), often running in parallel

  • A key role in evolving our design practice, as we grow, you grow
  • A remote first culture, with 1-2 days per week in the office (Melbourne based)
