The Role

As Supervisor, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader for our crack sealing crews — managing site setup, crew coordination, safety checks, and delivery standards. You'll work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure that jobs are completed on time, to specification, and in line with client and company expectations.

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example — supporting your team to meet productivity goals while embedding a strong safety culture and maintaining the quality we're known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day crack sealing jobs across metro and regional works
  • Lead and mentor crew members to deliver high-quality, efficient work
  • Manage plant, equipment, materials and logistics for job readiness
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety checks
  • Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
  • Report on job progress, hazards, and operational performance
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards
What You Bring
  • Previous experience in crack seal operations or road maintenance (essential)
  • Demonstrated leadership or crew-leading experience
  • Solid understanding of WHS practices and pre-start/site safety
  • Ability to coordinate plant, equipment, and materials effectively
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A can-do attitude, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done
  • MR/HR licence and traffic control tickets (highly regarded)
  • Commitment to fairness, teamwork, and continuous improvement
