About the Role

The Wee Waa Pool Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring our swimming facilities operate smoothly. You will oversee the maintenance of pool plant, equipment, and facilities, and lead staff in safe operational practices. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Performing administration duties such as cash handling, banking, and general administration.
  2. Providing leadership, support, and training to foster team growth and skills development.
  3. Managing daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  4. Assisting at the Front Desk and Kiosk with customer service, stock management, entry procedures, and health protocols.

Additionally, as a lifeguard, you will be ready to respond to emergencies with your rescue and first aid skills, ensuring swimmer safety.

For more details, please refer to the Position Description. The role may require rotation across Narrabri Shire Aquatic Facilities and will include returning to Narrabri Aquatic Centre during winter shutdown.

About You

Ideal candidates are problem-solvers with attention to detail, safety-conscious, and experienced in leadership, pool management, and customer service. Key qualifications include:

  • A certified pool lifeguard qualification.
  • Experience with pool plant and equipment maintenance.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
