As a Sales Support Specialist, your role is to provide first-line internal sales support to DLL's extensive vendor, broker, dealer, and direct channels. Support the sales process from application to booking in line with supporting procedures and vendor/partner agreements. Assist the front-line sales teams in meeting and exceeding new business volume targets by optimizing performance with existing vendor/broker partners and dealers. Ensure all transactions are processed up to settlements in a timely and accurate manner.
The role is a vital extension of the front-line sales team and reports to the Sales Support Manager.
Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL.Day-to-day responsibilities- Support the sales process from application to settlement, aiming to meet and achieve new business targets.
- Serve as the primary source of information and support for sales queries such as quotes, credit applications, credit approvals, letters of offer, documentation, and settlement preparation and execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, internal and external, ensuring requests are completed timely and accurately.
- Proactively manage pipeline and follow-up on pending deals.
- Prepare customer contracts and related documents, liaising with DLL Risk, Legal, Finance, and Asset Management teams as needed.
- Coordinate approval conditions for settlement and communicate with customers, vendors/brokers, and sales teams about pending deals, involving DLL Legal, Risk, Finance, and Asset Management when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively within the team, undertake cross-training, monitor workload and turnaround times, and communicate regularly with the Sales Support Manager to manage workflow and ensure compliance with service levels.
- Serve as the first line of AML compliance—structure customer setup, handle alerts, liaise with AML and compliance teams, and adhere to CAMS requirements.
- Strictly follow company policies and complete all required training and follow-up actions.
- Champion process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
- Ensure lease and loan security documentation is accurately completed and compliant with credit requirements.
- Confirm proper security registration to ensure transactions are properly executed, enforceable, and binding.
- Two days annually volunteering for a local charity.

Your Profile- Proven experience in finance operations or similar roles.
- Good understanding of documentation, equipment finance products, credit risks, and compliance policies.
- Ability to review and analyze information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
- Understanding of credit risk.
- Team player with initiative, energy, and enthusiasm.
- High integrity and motivation to exceed expectations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible to meet changing business needs and work under time constraints.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
