Be Part of Something Bigger

At Source Governance, Risk & Compliance, we're helping shape the future of governance and compliance for some of Australia's most exciting listed, public, and private companies. We work closely with our clients - not just as advisors, but as genuine partners and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for doing things better.

If you're someone who thrives on building strong relationships, has a meticulous eye for detail, and enjoys guiding organisations through complex corporate governance requirements, you'll feel right at home here. This is your opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive team that values your expertise and gives you the space to do your best work.

Who Are We?

Source Governance, Risk & Compliance is a national specialist provider of governance, company secretarial, compliance, and risk management services. We're part of the HPX Group - a group of like-minded businesses focused on finding a better way, always.

We're not weighed down by bureaucracy or rigid hierarchies. Instead, we create an environment where people can be themselves, stretch their thinking, and grow alongside a team that genuinely supports each other.

What We're Looking For

We're on the lookout for a Senior Company Secretary - a good human who's technically strong, commercially minded, and thrives on delivering exceptional governance services.

You'll have:

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Company Secretary or in a company secretariat function (ASX listed company experience is essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), ASX Listing Rules, and Corporate Governance Principles
  • Relevant degree and/or governance qualifications (e.g. GIA)
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional written communication
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

What You'll Be Doing

Working autonomously within a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for providing a full suite of company secretarial and governance services to a portfolio of ASX listed, public, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality company secretarial and governance services across your client portfolio
  • Managing relationships with boards, executives, shareholders, registries, lawyers, and regulators
  • Advising on governance obligations under the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and Corporate Governance Principles
  • Assisting with Board and Shareholder meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Maintaining corporate records and statutory registers
  • Developing and maintaining best practice governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring clients remain compliant with statutory obligations
  • Contributing to business growth and participating in business development initiatives

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive and high-performing governance team, working with exciting clients and high-quality work.
  • Flexible working arrangements to help you be a good human.
  • Competitive remuneration + equity opportunities through our Group Equity Plan.
  • An extra week of leave each year as part of our personal development program — because we believe in investing in you.
  • A vibrant and collaborative culture with regular social events, retreats, and training days.
  • Access to Perkbox for discounts on everything from your weekly food shop to gym memberships and travel.
