Your Role

As an Allied Health Assistant, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.

Your tasks will include:

  • Assisting with the implementation of individualised therapy programs as prescribed by allied health professionals
  • Supporting clients in their own homes to work towards individualised goals and reablement
  • Monitoring and reporting on clients' progress and response to therapy
  • Preparing equipment for therapy sessions
  • Recording accurate notes and communicating with supervising clinicians
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team discussions and meetings

Role Requirements

  • Proof of immunity or willingness to become vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current Queensland driver's license
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Good computer and mobile device skills
  • Effective communication skills
