About The RoleAs a Maintenance Officer, you'll be the go-to person for all things maintenance. From planned tasks and general maintenance to unexpected repairs, you'll ensure our facilities are in top shape. You'll work closely with our Director of Finance and collaborate with preferred suppliers to keep everything running smoothly, in line with health and safety regulations and Australian Standards. All work at the clinic, whether carried out by contractors or staff, should be within the planned budget and completed on time.
In this dynamic role, you will undertake all assigned maintenance duties, including general hospital maintenance, both planned and reactive. You will be responsible for managing maintenance contractors on site and completing compliance and safety audits.
Skills And ExperienceTo succeed in this part-time role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent communication skills. You should be able to develop productive relationships with contractors, colleagues, and customers. Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to and work is carried out safely and tidily is essential.
You will be expected to provide a comprehensive maintenance service that complies with legislative standards, corporate policies, and hospital budgets. Experience with building management systems and IT knowledge, including the Microsoft Office suite, is highly regarded.
You will also demonstrate:
- Maturity in the workplace to get the job done while focusing on health and safety practices.
- The ability to work independently and identify areas for improvement.
- Preferably hold a trade qualification, which is highly regarded, but previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, especially in hospitals, is also acceptable.
Ramsay Clinic Macarthur is a purpose-built mental health facility with 47 single rooms, day services, and on-site consulting suites located in Campbelltown.
