Genus is currently undertaking the design and construction of a 33kV distribution network including overhead and underground infrastructure assets for the FMG Decarbonisation strategy.

The Role

Join a well-established team on a major FMG site as an Electrical QA Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing quality assurance and commissioning on a high-profile resources project.

  • Lead routine QA / QC inspections and in-process checks across electrical systems.
  • Conduct testing, quality assessments, and compliance audits on-site.
  • Coach and guide technicians to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify electrical problems with various testing devices.
  • Manage and update Inspection Test Records (ITRs) using the CCMS.
  • Support and enforce commissioning procedures to ensure timely handover.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience
  • WA Electrical Licence (Essential)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role, ideally in construction and maintenance projects.
  • Experience working in fast-paced FIFO environments.
  • Strong understanding of QA / QC systems, documentation, and compliance.
  • Valid Driver's License – "C" Class (Minimum).
  • OHS Construction Safety Induction White Card.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
