The Project

Genus is currently undertaking the design and construction of a 33kV distribution network inclusive of overhead and underground infrastructure assets for the FMG Decarbanisation strategy.

The Role

Join a well-established team on a major FMG site as an Electrical QA Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing quality assurance and commissioning on a high-profile resources project.

Lead routine QA/QC inspections and in-process checks across electrical systems.
Conduct testing, quality assessments and compliance audits on-site.
Coach and guide technicians to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
Manage and update Inspection Test Records (ITRs) using the CCMS.
Support and enforce commissioning procedures to ensure timely handover.
Ensure all work aligns with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience

WA Electrical Licence (Essential)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory position, ideally in construction and maintenance projects.
Confident working in fast-paced FIFO environments.
Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, documentation, and compliance.
Valid Driver's License – "C" Class (Minimum).
OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to required deadlines.
Good judgement and decision making.
High level communication including active listening skills.
