Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor

Location: Perth, WA
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Perth.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure accurate cost management and value delivery across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and cost plans for throughout the design and construction phases

  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements using tools such as CostX or similar

  • Assist in the preparation and review of bills of quantities (BoQs) and tender documentation for MEP systems

  • Conduct post-contract cost control, including reviewing variations, progress claims, and final accounts

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues

  • Provide value engineering input and life cycle costing analysis

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and financial parameters

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline

  • 5 - 8 + years of experience in quantity surveying

  • Proficient in MEP measurement principles, tendering procedures, and Australian standards

  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, particularly AS forms of contract

  • Skilled in CostX, Excel, and other quantity surveying software

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen

  • MRICS, AIQS or working towards professional accreditation (highly regarded)
