Racing NSW is the peak body for thoroughbred horse racing throughout NSW. Its responsibilities include commercial, regulatory and integrity leadership of the industry.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen to be employed in this exciting industry and working closely with the Stipendiary Stewards to maintain the integrity and reputation of the thoroughbred racing industry.

Based in the Sydney CBD offices of Racing NSW you will be required to work on a five out of seven-day roster, which includes weekend work on race day.

Responsibilities
  • Work on investigations with strong analytical skills to conduct lead investigations in respect to potential breaches of the Rules of Racing.
  • Assist in the compilation of briefs of evidence and support investigation execution.
  • Contribute to maintaining the integrity and reputation of the thoroughbred racing industry.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written communication;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Knowledge of the Rules of Racing (desirable but not essential);
  • Proven computer skills including the use of analytical tools and software;
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team;
  • A valid driver's licence.

Persons who have served or are currently serving in the NSW Police Force or who have established connections with law enforcement agencies are encouraged to apply.

Provision of disclosure statements and adherence to the Racing NSW Code of Conduct for its employees are necessary requirements. The successful applicant will be required to submit National Police Check.
