About the Role
A newly created opportunity is now available for an experienced and driven MRI professional to join Jones Radiology as MRI Manager.
This pivotal role offers the chance to lead a high performing and collaborative MRI team while driving the growth and innovation of MRI services across the practice. You will play an integral part in expanding service capabilities, fostering a strong culture of clinical excellence and supporting the development of a dedicated team of MRI technologists.

In this dynamic leadership position, you'll balance strategic thinking with hands on engagement. Your key responsibilities include :
Leading daily MRI operations to ensure smooth patient flow, workforce planning and optimal equipment utilisation.
Monitoring key performance indicators such as scan quality, wait times and throughput.
Mentoring, coaching and supporting MRI technologists in their clinical and professional development.
Collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams on advanced imaging protocols and image quality standards.
Driving innovation by implementing new technologies, supporting service expansion and contributing to protocol development
Leading quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Overseeing equipment maintenance and managing vendor relationships to minimise downtime
Promoting a culture of clinical excellence, safety and continuous improvement
Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Representing MRI services in internal forums and contributing to broader organisational strategy
Key Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging, with current AHPRA registration.
10+ years experience as a senior MRI technologist, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
Advanced knowledge of MRI techniques, safety protocols and technology.
Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience in operational planning and driving service improvements.
Postgraduate qualification in MRI or Health Leadership is highly desirable.
Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
