About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join our Dandenong South office. As a member of the Supagas HR team you will focus on recruitment activities across the business, with a designated portfolio of roles supporting hiring managers to provide an efficient and effective recruitment process.

Responsibilities include managing high-volume recruitment, initiating recruitment processes on approved requisitions, candidate screening, talent searches, phone screens, coordinating interviews, reference checks, pre-employment medicals, and reporting on recruitment outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Embody the "Yes We Can" ethos in all facets of your responsibilities.
  • In a high-volume recruitment environment, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • On receipt of approved requisitions, initiate recruitment processes and ensure records are maintained.
  • Review and discuss role with hiring managers to understand requirements and preferences.
  • Screen resumes regularly and provide shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.
  • Proactively conduct talent search activities to expand the talent pool.
  • Conduct role-appropriate phone screening to validate candidate suitability.
  • Organise and coordinate candidate interviews in liaison with the hiring manager.
  • Carry out phone-based reference checks and facilitate pre-employment steps as required.
  • Support the interview process as requested by the hiring manager or National HR Manager.
  • Provide monthly reporting and progress updates on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a multi-site business
  • HR qualification is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability with multitasking and prioritisation
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Positive, supportive, and professional demeanour with the ability to achieve results
