Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

The Firm

Our client, a growing, progressive accounting firm based in the South Eastern suburbs. A collaborative team provides expert tax, accounting, SMSF and business advisory services. They value strong client relationships to enhance both client and team experiences.

The firm serves a diverse mix of SMEs across various industries with turnovers up to $10 million. The work environment is friendly and flexible, conveniently located close to public transportation with ample nearby parking.

Your Role Will Include

  • Engaging and building relationships with clients
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs
  • Preparing BAS and FBT returns
  • Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
  • Assisting with business advisory services, for example structuring advice
  • Supporting workflow for the management team

Qualifications & Skills

  • CA/CPA Qualified, or currently studying
  • At least 3 years' experience in business services within public practice
  • Strong experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • Confident communicator with great attention to detail
  • Experience in Xero (preferred) and BGL 360
