Job Summary

Position: Chef (Full-Time, Permanent)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: $76,515 per year + 12% superannuation

Location: 348 Keira St, Wollongong, NSW 2500

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality Italian cuisine, including Roman-style pizzas, pasta dishes, and traditional Italian specialties.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and adherence to authentic recipes.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, development, and implementation.
  • Manage food storage, preparation, and inventory control.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety standards, and compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant environment.
  • Passion for traditional Italian cuisine and dedication to culinary excellence.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
