The Technology and Systems Lead guides the transformation of our core systems and digital environment to strengthen how we deliver services and operate as an organisation.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the role works with the Executive Leadership and ICT teams, providing strategic and hands-on leadership in designing, implementing and improving digital capabilities that enable the organisation to achieve its objectives. The role leads the ICT roadmap to ensure our systems are modern, integrated and responsive to the needs of clients, staff and stakeholders, leveraging emerging technologies including automation, analytics and machine learning to expand access, improve outcomes and increase efficiency.

• Develop and execute Footprints Digital and ICT Strategy aligned with organisational goals and sector trends.
• Lead evaluation of existing digital assets and workforce capability; work with ELT and Senior Leaders to design and establish the capability to support the digital strategy.
• Drive the multi-year product roadmap for client-facing platforms with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure a seamless service experience.
• Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to align digital initiatives with the data strategy, enabling improved data capture, governance and use of insights for practice and decision-making.
• Evaluate, pilot and scale emerging technologies that support innovative service models (e.g. machine learning-enabled triage, virtual assistants, digital therapeutics).

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in delivering strategic leadership in client-focused, complex environments.
• Ability to lead large-scale digital transformation across service delivery ecosystems, ideally in healthcare, social services or similar contexts.
• Experience using creativity and innovation to drive change and optimise digitally enabled capability.
• Strategic, conceptual and analytical skills to help develop core capability and future growth.
• Vendor governance, MSP management and complex contract negotiation experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management with ability to translate technical concepts for Board/Executive audiences.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection laws, and ICT risk management.
• Experience in digital transformation and adopting emerging technologies to streamline ICT operations.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex ICT initiatives on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and data management tools.
• National NDIS Workers Screening check or current Yellow Card and Blue Card.
