LP HR Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne CBD, offers an integrated Building Services, Civil, and Sustainability service to our clients, enabling a multi-disciplinary approach to design that ensures efficiency and premium service quality. Currently, they have a vacancy for a full-time Environmental Consultant to join their team.

Duties :

  1. Supporting project teams with sustainability strategies and compliance across all design stages
  2. Advising clients, architects, and engineers on environmentally sustainable design principles and regulatory council requirements
  3. Strategizing effective solutions to improve energy efficiency, water conservation, and indoor environmental quality
  4. Planning sustainability initiatives in alignment with local and national standards, including Green Star, NatHERS, NCC, BCA and BESS
  5. Identifying and analyzing environmental impacts, energy usage, and building performance metrics
  6. Selecting appropriate materials, technologies, and systems that enhance sustainability outcomes
  7. Evaluating building designs using simulation tools such as NatHERS, JV3, daylight modelling, and thermal comfort analysis
  8. Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in sustainable design practices
  9. Developing reports, assessments, and documentation to support planning approvals and certification processes.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Sustainable Design or related discipline.
  • 2 years' experience in ESD consulting within Australia
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  • Excellent project management and leadership capabilities
  • Accreditations in Green Star, NABERS, WELL, Climate Active or similar preferred

Salary - $78,000 - $90,000 plus super
