Project Manager

Talentweb is looking to speak to Project Managers with a strong background in civil infrastructure, urban development, land subdivision and proven experience delivering exceptional solutions to clients.
The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, strong experience leading projects, managing tenders, contracts, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and drive successful outcomes in a high-performing team.
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering projects from inception to completion. You will manage contracts, budgets, and project timelines while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and Council regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, review, and manage tenders, proposals, and contracts, including liaising with legal teams and stakeholders to finalise agreements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project completion.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, councils, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Oversee civil design elements, review drawings, and ensure all work meets internal quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure projects comply with industry best practices, WHS, and environmental standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Provide direction and technical support to junior engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare project reports, recommendations, estimates, and approvals, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in civil project management (design experience is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Council regulations, and procurement processes.
- Experience in contract administration, cost management, and project scheduling.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in relevant civil engineering software
- Have worked on urban development projects
- Flexible working (1-day WFH) + 9-day fortnight.
