Overview

Dr Machine, a company founded in Australia with headquarters in Sydney, is seeking a Service Engineer for its Melbourne location. The company is the official distributor throughout Australia and New Zealand of Donatoni, a CNC technology manufacturer for the stone and ceramic industry. We are looking for an industrial technician who can start mid-June and has experience with CNC machines for stone, glass or steel.

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical support to end customers and assembly technicians
  • Providing software support installed onboard machines
  • Providing technical advice for problem resolution
  • Reporting issues to technical-mechanical-software development departments
  • Organizing technical interventions at customers' premises, ordering the necessary material, and planning the intervention of the competent technician
Qualifications
  • Diploma in mechanical and/or electronic engineering or level 3 engineering qualification recognized in Australia
  • Good knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical field
  • Preferable knowledge in software field
  • Excellent knowledge of the Italian language
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Attitude for relationships and contact with people
  • Previous experience in the role of Technical Support (preferred)
  • Entry-level profiles are also considered (possibility of offering initial training)

The profile is completed by excellent adaptability skills, good predisposition to teamwork, and good time management skills.
