A rare and newly created role has arisen for an experienced and driven Return To Work / Recruitment Officer to join our growing team

This position is a full-time position located in Robina.

About your new role

Manage workers compensation claims end-to-end, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted on time

End-to-end recruitment for our childcare centres located across QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS and SA. Key duties of this role include: posting job positions, filtering applications, scheduling, and conducting interviews and reference checks.

Onboarding employees with HR Administrative support to our Childcare Centres.

Identify suitable duties and develop tailored return to work plans in line with medical advice and operational needs

Assisting with employee retention , strategies and reporting.

Act as the nominated contact for all workplace injuries, supporting both work-related and non-work-related cases, including pregnancy-related work adjustments

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including multiple insurers, injury management consultants, treating professionals and occupational rehabilitation providers

Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records for all injury management activities

Monitor claims data and premiums to identify trends, reduce risks, and drive continuous improvement

Identifying and monitoring excessive leave and long-term leave without pay and working with managers to identify issues.

Assisting in employee wellness and wellbeing initiatives.

About you

Must have experience in injury management, return to work coordination and recruitment.

Background in the Early Childhood Industry will be highly regarded, but not essential.

Strong understanding across state workers compensation legislation and best practice case management

Empathetic and clear communicator, skilled at supporting employees and coaching managers through sensitive situations

You will be a self-driven individual, with a 'can do' attitude and be passionate about building lasting relationships.

High level time management skills to meet deadlines.

Ability to work individually and a part of a team.
