Overview

Responsibilities
  • Support children with literacy, speech and language disorders, social skills development, mealtime management and AAC assessment and prescriptions. Manage a varied caseload as a NDIS registered provider.
  • Receive guidance from a Clinical Supervisor with monthly supervision to develop your skills.
  • Participate in quarterly professional development with the Speech Pathologists across the organisation.
  • Receive monthly coaching from Clinic mentors to help achieve career goals.
  • Work from a modern clinic with access to all necessary resources and tools.
  • Have an allocated buddy to support induction and ongoing integration.
  • Opportunity to observe experienced clinicians from all disciplines in therapy sessions.
  • Access our online learning and training library.
  • Receive ongoing supervision, training and support from the Speech Pathology and broader allied health team; IT support is available.
  • Telehealth options when needed for client care.
  • Participate in group supervision sessions, lunches and learns, conference days and other professional development activities.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Registration as a Speech Pathologist with SPA or eligibility to obtain
  • Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current driver's licence and vehicle
  • Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain before commencing work)
