Functions Bar Manager

Fraser's celebrates the best Western Australia has to offer in food, wine and service, set in one of the most spectacular locations in the state, on the famous Fraser Avenue in beautiful Kings Park, West Perth.

This exciting and varied role will see you provide assistance to the Events Operations Manager& Functions Manager with the day to day running of the business, assisting the Beverage Manager as required.

Relevant management experience in a busy bar environment is mandatory. This role best suits an independent individual who is organized and ready to make this position their own.

Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

Two years' experience in a bar management position

Well versed with the latest in beverage trends

Good understanding of beer reticulation systems & bar operations

Strong food, wine and service knowledge

Must be energetic, reliable and positive with the ability to work well in a team

Exceptional grooming standards

Key responsibilities:

Oversee & be responsible for bar/beverage operations, including stock ordering as required

Ensure tidiness & acceptable presentation of bar & related storage areas is consistent

Maintain the operating and service standards as directed

Liaising, coordinating and cooperating with Event Managers to ensure the seamless operation of events

Mentor and train staff

The restaurant is informal, yet offers an elegant space in which to dine, with expansive floor to ceiling windows that take full advantage of the inspiring city and river views. The restaurant can seat up to 100 people inside, plus there is substantial seating on the alfresco terrace.

Our menus change regularly as we tailor our food around the best seasonal local produce available to us.
