We are looking for an Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team.

Reporting to the IT Operations and Security Manager, this role will primarily secure, automate, and enhance our cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and support our corporate network and end-user device security.

Flexible Location [Melbourne Preferred, but open to the right candidate]

What does the role entail?

This varied role involves collaborating with business teams on system performance, resolving escalated support, and aligning solutions with business needs.

In summary we are looking fort:

Escalate cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage, security) support issues from Helpdesk.
Assist with building, maintaining, and testing DR/BCP systems and procedures.
Create and update system and end-user documentation.
Adhere to and improve ISMS controls for cloud environments.

What you'll bring:

Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years in a similar role.
Expertise in IaaS/PaaS (Google Cloud preferred) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Foundational network knowledge, experience with application performance/security monitoring.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and volume performance.
Experience in high-compliance environments (ISO27001, SOC2 Type 2, security frameworks).
