About the role We are seeking a talented and driven Site Engineer or Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer to join our team at the Australian Infrastructure Group.
This is a full-time position based in our Brisbane office, with the opportunity for some remote work arrangements.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of key infrastructure projects, contributing to the strategic objectives of our rapidly growing organisation.
What you'll be doing Providing technical oversight and engineering support for construction projects, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality assurance Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints Analyzing and interpreting engineering design documents, specifications, and drawings to identify and resolve technical issues Preparing detailed project reports, documentation, and progress updates for senior management and clients Assisting with the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or a related field Previous experience in a similar site engineer or project engineer role, ideally within the infrastructure or construction industry Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound engineering decisions Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices What we offer At the Australian Infrastructure Group, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
