Overview

Graduate Accountants role at South Australia Police. Two full-time vacancies on 2 year contracts. Location: Adelaide (postcode 5000). Job status: Long Term Contract. Eligibility: Open to Everyone.

Responsibilities
  • Rotate across SAPOL Services including Business Service (Financial Management Service Branch) performing financial investigations and projects, and contributing to the provision of comprehensive, timely and accurate financial information to assist SAPOL meet its financial management and reporting obligations.
  • Processing expiation notices issued by SAPOL members and outside agencies.
  • Financial management services; management of SAPOL's financial information and reporting functions.
  • Creating, maintaining, storing and releasing information essential to SAPOL's mission.
  • Management of SAPOL's physical assets including fleet, property and facilities; procurement and contract management services.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics or Commerce, majoring in accounting.
Special Conditions
  • The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
  • May be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
  • Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is required.
Salary

ASO3 – $67,589 to $72,033 per annum.
