We are actively seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our thriving Melbourne team

The Role: Responsible for supporting the finance function through timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, financial record-keeping, and company secretarial duties for the MaxCap Group.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment preparation
  • Prepare sales invoices & complete accounts receivable duties including: monitoring and following up on outstanding balances where required.
  • Record corporate credit card & employee expense claims
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts daily as directed
  • Maintain financial records for SPV's & preparation of SPV BAS returns
  • Assist with month end reporting and all associated tasks

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to plan effectively and take accountability for delivering results
