We are seeking an innovative AI-Enhanced Design Lead to spearhead our transition to AI-first creative services. This role combines traditional design excellence with cutting-edge AI technology integration, requiring both creative vision and technical adaptability. The successful candidate will lead AI-enhanced design workflows, educate clients on AI capabilities, and drive efficiency through intelligent automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate AI design tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, etc.) into daily workflows
  • Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies for consistent, high-quality outputs
  • Create AI-enhanced design processes that improve speed and creativity
  • Stay current with emerging AI design technologies and evaluate their application
  • Build template libraries and automation workflows for common design tasks
  • Present AI-enhanced design solutions to clients with confidence and expertise
  • Educate clients on AI capabilities, benefits, and implementation strategies
  • Support client workshops on AI integration in their marketing and brand strategies
  • Translate complex AI concepts into accessible business language
  • Educate account service team around AI-enhanced deliverables and timelines

Design Excellence & Quality

  • Produce high-quality design work across digital and print mediums
  • Maintain brand consistency while leveraging AI for enhanced creativity
  • Review and refine AI-generated content to meet professional standards
  • Collaborate with development team on AI-enhanced digital experiences
  • Ensure all work meets client requirements and brand guidelines
  • Mentor junior designers in AI tool adoption and best practices
  • Develop training materials and standard operating procedures for AI workflows
  • Report to Creative Director on strategic direction
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with enhanced efficiency through AI tools
  • Contribute to business development presentations showcasing AI capabilities

Performance & Efficiency

  • Complete projects within allocated timeframes using AI-enhanced workflows
  • Demonstrate measurable productivity improvements through AI integration
  • Track and report on AI tool effectiveness and ROI
  • Continuously optimize workflows for maximum efficiency
  • Maintain high client satisfaction scores through superior deliverables

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AI design tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly)
  • Advanced prompt engineering abilities with demonstrable results
  • Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Figma/Sketch proficiency for digital design and prototyping
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS knowledge preferred)

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years in senior design role within agency or in-house environment
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into professional design workflows
  • Portfolio showcasing both traditional design excellence and AI-enhanced work
  • Client-facing experience with ability to present and explain design concepts
  • Project management skills with track record of meeting deadlines

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Quality standards: Minimal revision requests and high approval rates
