Functional Consultant - Business Analyst

The N&A Group, owned and operated by the Cathels family since 1956, is a premium supplier of Australian-grown fresh produce. We specialize in growing, packing, marketing, and exporting a variety of fruits and vegetables, including apples, stone fruit, mangoes, avocados, citrus, and vegetables. Our produce is sourced from premium growing regions across Australia, providing end-to-end solutions for suppliers and customers. We pride ourselves on our dedicated and experienced team, ensuring high-quality service and produce. The role is based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Role Description

N&A Group is a vertically integrated grower-led supplier of fresh produce. We grow fruit in NSW & Victoria and source produce from all over the country as a strategic supplier to all major supermarkets, retailers & wholesalers, and we export to Asia & the Middle East. We have relied upon Microsoft Dynamics NAV to support critical business operations and we are now embarking upon a significant ERP upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

We are seeking an experienced Business Central consultant to support a critical migration project fromMicrosoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central. The successful candidate will contribute to all phases of the project, from functional gap analysis & documenting requirements through to testing, configuration, data migration, training and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with gap analysis between existing Dynamics NAV system and target Business Central solution.
  • Understand the business workflows, processes & requirements.
  • Identify, document & assist with closing gaps in available BC functionality.
  • Work closely with CTO, CFO and wider team to validate proposed solution.
  • Assist with solution design, testing, configuration & deployment.
  • User training, team work, go-live migration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as a business analyst and/or consultant working with Business Central.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, operational & financial processes within Business Central.
  • Strong understanding of Business Central data, tables & objects.
  • Excellent communication & documentation skills.
  • Experience in the fresh produce industry.
  • Previous experience with a similar project, from requirements analysis to go-live.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics NAV and data migration to Business Central.
  • Understanding of industry-specific requirements such as lot management, traceability, inventory costings, production orders, pallets & crates.
  • Good knowledge of Business Central administration, personalisation & customisation.
  • AL development experience is highly regarded.
