Overview

7:30 AM – Coffee in hand, I'm ready to start my shift. Plans can change: I'm reassigned to Mrs. Jones' for a Personal care & Medication assist shift. In this role, flexibility is part of what makes the day flow. 8:00 AM – I arrive at Mrs. Jones' home and assist with safety checks, showering and dressing. I provide morning medication support as part of her routine. 8:30 AM – After breakfast with friends, I head to two additional personal care visits. 11:00 AM – 1 PM – I complete personal care shifts and then move to Mr. Bruno for domestic assistance: bed making, vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cooking, and kitchen/bathroom cleaning. 1 PM – I finish with Mr. Kent's grocery shopping, planning meals, and sharing a few laughs. 3:30 PM – I return home after helping Mr. Kent stock the fridge. I've added notes to the system after each visit using mobile apps for a clear daily record.

What You'll Bring
  • Passion for Helping: A genuine interest in supporting clients and improving lives.
  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Must-Haves: Driver's license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
