Early Childhood Teacher Job Details

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you'll ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices. Your passion for teaching will shine through as you mentor and inspire educational practices in your room, collaborating with our centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, achieving outstanding outcomes for our children.

About Goodstart Gawler South

• The centre is located next to the railway station making the daily commute to work a whole lot easier
• Open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm.
• We provide high quality education and care for 90 children per day, aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Large outdoor space. Add to that our well-stocked veggie gardens – and we have a solid base from which to teach about sustainability and the environment.

You'll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
• In some states teacher registration is required: South Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) (applicants working towards their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be able to apply for Special Authority to Teach if certain conditions are met)
