Overview
Location: Melbourne | Employment type: Full-time (hybrid) | Duration: 4-6 months (with possibility of extension) | This is an opportunity to join an organisation in the Government sector
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day management of a number of litigation proceedings
- liaise with external legal providers and internal clients
- prepare internal briefs
- contribute to policy-related matters
- Very strong Victorian civil litigation experience
- Construction law experience would be a bonus
- You can work autonomously and maintain a high professional standard, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable and able to fit in with established work practices
- Team player with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced team
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
- Current practising certificate
- Right to live and work in Australia
