Overview

Help us make safety second nature. We deliver major infrastructure projects across Australia, and we're looking for a Safety Specialist who can inspire, guide, and work alongside our teams, customers, and suppliers to keep people safe and projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Be a mentor and positive influence, helping others lead health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) in their day-to-day work
  • Keep our licensing and staff accreditations up to date, including supporting growth into new markets
  • Bring the Opportunity & Risk Management Framework to life across projects
  • Help maintain our ISO and Federal Safety Commissioner accreditations
  • Join customer meetings, visit sites, have safety conversations, and carry out inspections
  • Review project and contractor documents, making sure we meet customer requirements
  • Spot opportunities to add value for both our customers and suppliers
Qualifications
  • Experience leading safety in high-risk industries
  • Solid knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes
  • The ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Curiosity, a love of learning, and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or Engineering
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • ICAM Lead Investigator training
