We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to join our team in Wingham. You will be an integral part of an experienced Quality Assurance Team to assist the QA Manager in all areas.

What skill are we looking for?
  • Monitoring quality procedures in line with regulative and customer requirements
  • Oversee the QA Production team monitoring process to ensure compliance
  • Assist and develop quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food products
  • Monitor and record daily production needs and provide specialists assistance to the QA Manager
  • Deliver project management implementation
  • Accurately record process monitoring by applying valid and reliable sampling technique
  • Ability to display excellent judgement, drive and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem solving, organisational skills and computer skills
What experience are we looking for?
  • Strong understanding of HACCP & Quality Assurance Systems
  • Experience in the food processing industry, supported by specialist knowledge of quality assurance monitoring and reporting systems
  • Internal Auditing and HACCP Certification preferred
  • Good understanding of the regulative Approved Arrangement
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management or Food Technology an advantage
