Our client is a leading national law firm which is in growth mode. The firm is well known for its friendly and collaborative culture and for providing clients with exceptional services. Our client is also well known for supporting its people to grow and develop.
Due to a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking for an experienced employment & workplace lawyer. You will advise employer clients on such matters that include employment, industrial relations, discrimination and equal opportunity, work health and safety, crisis management, general protections, unfair termination, enterprise bargaining, and work health and safety. The work will include a mix of litigation and advisory.
This role offers exposure to a prestigious client base providing an opportunity to work on some of the largest, most strategic and most complex matters in Australia. This is a national team and there will be opportunity to work with other partners and senior lawyers in other states.
About YouThe ideal candidate for this senior employment lawyer role is:
- at least 5 years practising in employment law, either gained from a law firm or government environment
- strong technical skills and a commercial approach
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- a pragmatic, proactive and solutions-focused outlook
- a desire to work on challenging and fulfilling matters and build strong relationships with clients
