Talent International is searching for an experienced SAP HANA Modeller to join our Queensland Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a contract through to March 2026, with strong extension potential.

// Initial contract until 31st March 2026 + likely extensions

// 2 Days WFH Per Week

The Role

This is a senior leadership position within a government analytics division, focused on enterprise data modelling, platform enhancement, and the delivery of high-value insights. You'll play a key role in shaping and advancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), while mentoring team members and driving sustainable data services.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and continuously improve EDW platform capabilities
  • Develop complex enterprise data models, transformations, and integration pipelines
  • Support metadata management, data matching algorithms, and data quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with BI Analysts and develop secure APIs for reporting
  • Provide leadership and mentoring within the data team
  • Resolve incidents, manage deployments, and monitor critical application functions

Requirements
  • Strong SAP HANA 2.0 modelling (calculation views, CDS, procedures, table functions)
  • SQL expertise with relational databases, query optimisation, and data integrity
  • Experience with SDI, SDQ, SAP SAC and Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong understanding of conceptual, logical, and dimensional data modelling
  • Experience with end-to-end data pipelines in on-premise or cloud environments
  • Skills in data governance, security, and sensitive data handling
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
  • Microsoft Synapse Analytics
  • Data Lakehouse architecture and implementation
  • SAP Certification
